I was on (what do you call it?) a vacation last week. And I intended to resume YDDoR&R posts on 02/15. But the energy was (clearly) not there. I hope you will all forgive me. You all deserve better. And I’m trying to gin up some enthusiasm and stick-to-itiveness
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been striving to find my — uhm — spiritual grounding. So many things seems so wrong. Here’s a song that has always validated my existence. I once even suggested it would be the best song to be played at my funeral. But, really, play whatever you want. I won’t care. I’ll be dead.
That whole album is worth listening to and listening to closely. Since I’ve missed one or two “Brilliant Covers Tuesday” installments, I will mention that this LP includes a brilliant cover of a Jimmy Reeves tune, written by Ray Baker.
Have a great Saturday.
